Football kindles feelings – but what might these feelings actually look like?
To hype up the opening of the Swedish Allsvenskan, returning attacker Tobias Hysén was connected up to sensors measuring his pulse rate and muscular tension. In effect, this registered his anticipation of once more walking out onto the pitch before a packed home stadium.
The result was a film that gave the fans the shivers.
This film has had over 250,000 views on IFK Göteborg’s Facebook page and has been shared over 1,000 times.
Also, it is part of a large-scale campaign where IFK Göteborg uses sensors to find out what their supporters feel when the team plays a full season.
